Reviews about Ballarat Psychiatry Group

  • Sonia you neglected me in mental health for over eight years, you over dosed me on medication when there was no need for it you gave me a dosage that was to high for my frame and height and I became obese, I became obese because you only "ONCE" in over eight years of your care of me in mental health gave me a blood test to check my thyroid you always forgot to weigh me each monthly visit I had with you over the some thing like eight years I was in your care and you and the staff always "WRONGLY" accused me of binge eating from the medication when this was largely incorrect even when you were told many times I could not keep many meals down due to the high dosage of medication you had me on which was giving me blinding headaches and vomiting. Because you did nothing about lowering my medication when I became obese I than developed gall stones and later had to have my gall bladder out. I now have from being obese even though I have "STRUGGLED" hard to lose weight "hypothyroidism" and "Diabetes". On top of this I am still suffering from restless legs syndrome caused from the high dosage of mental health medication you had me on. I have still rated you "FIVE" stars because I know you will go on to do a much better job in the future where you are praticing now and I wish you the very best for the future. I also rate you "FIVE" stars because although you did me wrong in mental health you did get me back on my feet and doing acceptionally well again and I feel 100% that you are still genuinely a very caring and gentle person and always will be. BUT please listen to your clients and please do not categorize every one as "LIARS" or as being intellectuallly disabled just because they have or have had a mental health record. We are not all the same even though we may share the same diagnoses as some one else who turns out to be Ballarats biggest liar. I hope that you will learn from what I have stressed above and I know you will do a much better job in future. All the best for the future Sonia and thank you so much for getting me well again to the point were I am doing acceptionally well emotionally. THANK YOU SONIA.
